Cheez-It Snap'd is a thin and crispy snack variation of the iconic Cheez-It brand. The brand has a long and storied history, originally introduced in 1921 by the Green & Green Company based in Dayton, Ohio. Over the decades, it became a staple of American snack food culture, known specifically for its use of 100% real cheese.
Following its acquisition history, the brand was part of the Sunshine Biscuits company and eventually came under the ownership of the Kellogg Company in 2001. In 2023, Kellogg Company split into two entities, placing the snack business, including Cheez-It, under 'Kellanova'. While Cheez-It is predominantly an American brand with major production facilities across the United States, it is distributed globally through various local subsidiaries and imports.
