Landliebe is one of Germany’s most iconic dairy brands, established in 1980 by Südmilch AG. Known for its traditional recipes and commitment to regional sourcing, it became a flagship brand under the ownership of Campina (later FrieslandCampina). The brand is highly recognized for its signature glass jars and its emphasis on high-quality milk from family-run farms with traditional feeding practices.
In early 2023, the ownership landscape for Landliebe shifted significantly. The Müller Group (Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller) acquired the German core business of Landliebe from FrieslandCampina. Today, the brand remains a staple in German grocery stores, with production primarily concentrated within Germany to maintain its regional heritage and quality standards. This acquisition has solidified the Müller Group's position as a dominant player in the European dairy market.
