Helosan Fotsalva

Helosan is a well-known Scandinavian skin care brand that was originally developed in Denmark. It was created in 1947 by the company Pharmacia to provide an antiseptic and moisturizing solution for both veterinary and human use, eventually becoming a household staple in countries like Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

Today, Helosan is produced in Denmark. The brand underwent a change in ownership and is currently owned by the French healthcare company Perrigo. This transition occurred when Perrigo acquired certain consumer healthcare assets, including the Helosan brand (formerly under Omega Pharma), strengthening its presence in the Nordic skincare market.
