Arabia Moomin Mug Moominpappa

Arabia Moomin mugs are iconic pieces of Finnish design history, featuring illustrations from Tove Jansson's beloved Moomin stories. While Arabia is a classic Finnish brand founded in 1873 near Helsinki, production has shifted over time.

Starting in 2016, Fiskars Group, the current owner of Arabia, moved the manufacturing of ceramic products from the historic Arabia factory in Finland to Thailand to optimize global supply chains. The brand remains deeply rooted in Finnish heritage through its design and artistic direction, even though the physical products are primarily manufactured abroad. The Moomin characters themselves are managed by Moomin Characters Ltd, which licenses the imagery to Fiskars-owned Arabia.
