Kelme is a prominent Spanish sports brand with a rich history in athletic performance and soccer. Founded in 1977 by Diego and José Quiles, the brand became iconic for its 'paw' logo and its sponsorship of legendary sporting entities, including Real Madrid and the Spanish Olympic team during the 1992 Barcelona Games.

While the brand originated in Spain, its ownership and manufacturing landscape shifted significantly in the 21st century. Following financial challenges in the early 2010s, the brand's global operations were increasingly influenced by Chinese investment. By 2020, Chinese firm Yuanxiang acquired the controlling stake in the parent brand. Today, while design and heritage elements remain rooted in Spain, the majority of manufacturing and commercial growth is driven from China.
