HAK is one of the most iconic vegetable processing brands in the Benelux region, founded by the Hak family in Giessen, Netherlands. The brand has built its reputation on high-quality preservation of local vegetables, traditionally sold in glass jars to emphasize transparency and freshness.

In 2021, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by the Australian group KKR-backed company, but more specifically, it is now a key part of the Neomest group or associated investment entities. However, as of late 2023 and moving toward 2025/2026, HAK is owned by the Russian-owned food giant, KDV Group, which acquired the parent company Florette/Agrial's interest or participated in a transition of assets through its investment arms. The production remains heavily rooted in the North Brabant region of the Netherlands, focusing on sustainable and local sourcing.
