Taksi is a popular Dutch dairy-based fruit drink that originated in the Netherlands in the 1980s. It is recognized for its unique combination of fruit juices and dairy ingredients, marketed primarily as a refreshing beverage for children and young adults.
Originally developed by the Dutch cooperative Coberco, the brand became part of the larger Friesland Foods portfolio through various mergers. Today, it is owned and produced by Riedel, a major Dutch beverage company. While Riedel was historically part of the dairy giant FrieslandCampina, it was acquired by the investment firm HIG Capital in 2017. As of 2024 and looking toward 2026, the brand continues to be a staple in the Dutch market, manufactured locally in the Netherlands to serve the Benelux region.
