Catelli Garden Select Garlic & Onion Pasta Sauce

Catelli is an iconic Canadian brand with a rich history dating back to 1867 when Carlo Onorato Catelli founded the company in Montreal. Initially famous for its pasta, the brand expanded into various food categories, including its popular Garden Select line of pasta sauces which emphasizes vegetable-rich recipes like the Garlic & Onion variety shown.

Over the years, the brand has undergone several ownership changes. For many years, it was part of Ebro Foods. However, in late 2020, Barilla G. e R. Fratelli S.p.A. acquired Catelli's dry pasta business and the brand name in Canada. While ownership transitioned to Italy-based Barilla, the products continue to maintain a strong manufacturing presence in Canada to serve the North American market, remaining a staple in Canadian pantries.
