Voltaren Emulgel is a globally recognized topical pain relief product containing diclofenac diethylamine. The brand was originally developed by Geigy, a Swiss chemicals and pharmaceuticals company that later merged into Ciba-Geigy and eventually became part of Novartis.
Today, the brand ownership has transitioned into the consumer healthcare space. Following a major joint venture and subsequent demerger between GSK and Novartis, the brand is now owned by Haleon. Haleon is a leading independent consumer health company based in the United Kingdom, formed through the spin-off of GSK's consumer healthcare division. Manufacturing occurs across several international sites to support global supply, including facilities in Germany and Canada.
