Primaprix is a prominent Spanish discount retail chain that specializes in selling consumer goods from top-tier brands at significantly lower prices. Founded in 2014, the company pioneered the 'outlet' model for FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) in Spain, sourcing liquidations, overstocks, and products with minor packaging changes or labeling differences from across the European market.

Historically, the company was backed by a fund based in Luxembourg (Bargain Retail Europe). However, in the late 2022/early 2023 period, the Indonesian retail giant Indomarco Prismatama, which operates the massive Indomaret chain, acquired the business. This acquisition marked a significant shift in ownership, placing the Spanish discount specialist under the umbrella of one of Southeast Asia's largest retail conglomerates.
