Historically, TechniSat was part of the Techniropa Holding GmbH under the LEPPER Foundation. However, in late 2025, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by OHB SE, a major European space and technology group. While the company maintains significant 'Made in Germany' production facilities in locations like Staßfurt, it also operates manufacturing sites in Poland (Oborniki Śląskie) and Hungary (Abasár) to serve the broader European market.
