Atomic is a premier winter sports brand founded in 1955 by Alois Rohrmoser in Austria. Known for its high-performance skis, boots, and helmets, it has established itself as a leader in both professional racing and recreational skiing. While the brand remains deeply rooted in the Austrian Alps with its main production facility in Altenmarkt im Pongau, its global reach involves manufacturing in multiple countries including Bulgaria and Romania to meet international demand.

Since 1994, Atomic has been part of the Amer Sports group. Following the acquisition of Amer Sports by a consortium led by ANTA Sports in 2019, the brand is currently under the ultimate ownership of this global sporting goods giant. Despite these ownership shifts, Atomic maintains its focus on Austrian engineering and remains one of the most recognizable names in the ski industry today.
