1664 Blonde beer

Kronenbourg 1664 is a premium lager originally brewed in Strasbourg, France. It is named after the year the Hatt family, founders of Kronenbourg, first established their brewery. While its roots are deeply embedded in French brewing tradition, particularly in the Alsace region, the brand is now part of a global distribution network.

Today, the brand is owned by the Carlsberg Group, a Danish multinational brewery. Production primarily takes place at the Kronenbourg brewery in Obernai, France, which is the largest brewery in the country. However, under Carlsberg's ownership, the beer is also brewed under license in various other countries to supply international markets, though the French-produced version remains the flagship.
