Grans Bare Øl

Bare Øl is a well-known Norwegian beer brand produced by the family-owned Grans Bryggeri. Established in Sandefjord in 1899, the brewery has maintained a long standing tradition of independent production in Norway.

While Reitangruppen (REMA 1000) owns 50% of the company to secure distribution across its supermarket network, the Gran family continues to hold the other 50% and manages the day-to-day operations and brewing processes. This partnership ensures that Grans products, including Bare Øl, have a dominant presence in the Norwegian retail market while remaining a quintessentially Norwegian brand.
