Kodak batteries represent a legacy brand that has transitioned through significant corporate restructuring. Originally established in the United States by George Eastman, Kodak became a global icon in photography. Following the digital shift and the parent company's subsequent bankruptcy reorganization, Kodak moved toward a licensing model for many of its consumer products.

Today, the Kodak brand for consumer batteries is managed under a long-term license agreement. Strand Europe Ltd, based in the United Kingdom, is the master licensee for Kodak batteries globally. While the Kodak brand remains American in origin, the production of these batteries is largely concentrated in high-capacity manufacturing facilities in China and other specialized electronic manufacturing hubs to ensure competitive pricing and global availability.
