Nicotinell is a global brand of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) products. It was originally developed by the Swiss pharmaceutical giant Ciba-Geigy (which later became Novartis).
In 2015, Novartis and GSK formed a consumer healthcare joint venture, leading to Nicotinell being under GSK's umbrella. However, following the demerger of GSK's consumer healthcare division in 2022, the brand became part of Haleon, an independent global leader in consumer health.
Manufacturing for Nicotinell products occurs in several specialized facilities across Europe and North America to meet international pharmaceutical standards, although specific production for northern European markets often occurs in Switzerland or Germany.
