In the display sector, Philips entered a long-term brand license agreement with TPV Technology Limited, a major electronics manufacturer based in Hong Kong.

Today, Philips-branded monitors are managed and produced by TPV (under its subsidiary MMD). While Philips maintains its corporate headquarters in Amsterdam, focusing on healthcare technology, the consumer electronics line is manufactured globally, with significant production hubs in China and local assembly plants in countries like Brazil (Manaus) to serve local markets.
