Hotpoint Ariston Oven

Hotpoint Ariston is a prominent brand in the home appliance industry, resulting from the synergy between the American Hotpoint and the Italian Ariston brands. Originally, Ariston was the flagship brand of Merloni Elettrodomestici, founded in Fabriano, Italy. In 2007, Indesit Company (formerly Merloni) integrated Hotpoint with Ariston to create the co-branded Hotpoint-Ariston identity for European markets.

In 2014, the American giant Whirlpool Corporation acquired a majority stake in Indesit Company, taking ownership of the brand. Manufacturing is distributed across several European factories, with significant production hubs in Italy and Poland. Following a major strategic shift in late 2023 and 2024, Whirlpool's European appliance business, including Hotpoint Ariston, was contributed to a new joint venture with Arçelik called Beko Europe, where Arçelik holds the majority ownership, marking a new chapter for the brand's production and distribution across EMEA.
