Crunch is a historic brand best known for its chocolate bar made with milk chocolate and crisped rice. The 'Easy Fit' variant is part of a modern product line extension designed to offer a more portable, snack-sized experience that aligns with quick-energy consumption. Originally launched by Nestlé in the 1930s, the brand has become a global staple in the confectionery market.
While the brand was founded in Switzerland by Nestlé, the ownership is currently split globally. In the United States, the confectionery business including Crunch was acquired by the Ferrero Group in 2018. However, in most international markets outside of the US, including European and Asian territories, Nestlé retains ownership and production rights. Manufacturing typically occurs in regional plants located closer to their respective consumer markets to ensure freshness and efficient distribution.
