Royco Chicken Soup (Kip Poulet)

Royco is a well-established brand in the instant soup and seasoning market, particularly prominent in European and African regions. Originally founded in the Netherlands/Belgium region, Royco became a household name for quick, cup-based instant soups. For many years, it was part of the Unilever portfolio.

In 2013, as part of a strategic divestment, Unilever sold its Royco operations (among other brands like Oxo and Erasco) to CVC Capital Partners, who subsequently integrated them into Continental Foods. Later, in 2019, the Spanish multinational food group GBfoods acquired Continental Foods. Today, Royco is manufactured in various facilities across Europe to serve its core markets in Belgium and France, remaining under the stable ownership of GBfoods.
