St-Méthode Bakery (Boulangerie St-Méthode) is a prominent Canadian bakery founded in 1947 by Joseph-Omer Faucher and Mariette Robert in Saint-Méthode-de-Frontenac, Quebec. The brand specializes in high-quality, healthy breads, with the 'Les Grains' line being particularly popular for using locally sourced, non-GMO grains.
Historically a family-owned business, the company underwent a significant ownership change in 2014 when a group of investors led by CDPQ (Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec) and Roynat Capital acquired it alongside the family. In 2023, the brand reached a new milestone when it was acquired by Swander Pace Capital, a private equity firm that also owns other major food brands. Despite these transitions, the products continue to be manufactured primarily in Quebec, maintaining their local roots and distribution throughout Canada.
