Amicelli Hazelnut Wafers

Amicelli is a well-known brand of chocolate-coated hazelnut wafer rolls. Originally developed by Mars, Inc. in Germany, the brand was a staple of their snacking portfolio for decades. The treats are characterized by their light, crispy wafer and rich chocolate filling, often marketed as a high-quality gift or indulgent personal snack.

In 2021, Mars sold the Amicelli brand to the German family-owned company Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG, the makers of Ritter Sport. This acquisition allowed Ritter to expand beyond their iconic square chocolate bars into the wafer segment. Today, production remains centered in Germany, and the brand is now an integral part of Ritter's broader confectionery lineup.
