Mcennedy American Way is a private label brand owned by the German discount supermarket chain Lid. Despite its heavy American-themed branding, including the use of colors from the US flag, the brand is European in origin. While the branding evokes the spirit of the United States, manufacturing typically takes place within Europe to serve Lidl's vast logistics network. Most Mcennedy products found in Danish stores are produced in Germany, the Netherlands, or other EU member states. The brand remains a wholly-owned trademark of Lidl, which manages the production through various third-party suppliers across the continent.
