TVN is a leading Polish commercial television network that has undergone several significant ownership changes since its inception. Founded in 1997, it quickly became a cornerstone of the Polish media landscape, offering a wide array of news, entertainment, and lifestyle programming. The brand reached international prominence through its high production standards and various thematic channels such as TVN24.

Originally established by the ITI Group, the network transitioned through various owners, including the French media giant Canal+ and the American broadcaster Scripps Networks Interactive. In 2018, Scripps was acquired by Discovery, Inc., which subsequently merged with WarnerMedia in 2022. Today, TVN operates as a vital part of the Warner Bros. Discovery portfolio, benefiting from global resources while maintaining its deep local roots in Warsaw.

As of 2024 and beyond, TVN is fully integrated into the Warner Bros. Discovery group. This ownership structure places TVN under the umbrella of one of the world's largest media and entertainment conglomerates, headquartered in the United States. Despite its global ownership, the network remains a primary source of content for the Polish market, producing the vast majority of its programming locally within Poland.
