Tnuva Semi-Hard Cheese

Tnuva is a prominent Israeli food manufacturer and distributor, widely recognized for its extensive range of dairy products. Founded in 1926 as a cooperative owned by several hundred kibbutzim and moshavim, it played a central role in the development of the Israeli agricultural sector. Over the decades, it expanded from processing fresh milk into a conglomerate producing meats, eggs, and frozen vegetables.

In 2008, control of the company shifted from the original cooperative members to the British private equity firm Apax Partners. Later, in 2015, the Chinese food giant Bright Food Group acquired a majority stake in Tnuva. Today, while the company remains headquartered in Israel and operates local production facilities to serve the domestic market, its ultimate ownership resides with the Shanghai-based Bright Food Group. Despite these changes in international ownership, Tnuva continues to be the largest food manufacturer in Israel.
