Magimix is the consumer brand of the French company Robot-Coupe, which invented the world's first food processor for professional chefs in 1963. After the success of the commercial models, the company launched the Magimix in 1971 as the first food processor designed specifically for domestic use.
Most of Magimix’s core products, particularly its iconic food processors, are still manufactured in their original home of Burgundy, France. The brand is renowned for its high-quality induction motors that often come with decades-long warranties. In addition to food processors, the brand has expanded into coffee machines (through a long-standing partnership with Nespresso), blenders, and juicers.
The brand remains under the private ownership of the Haba family through their holding company, Groupe Haba. This ownership structure has allowed Magimix to maintain its focus on premium, professional-grade kitchen appliances rather than mass-market disposable goods. Today, it is recognized globally as a leader in culinary technology, blending French engineering with high-durability kitchen solutions.
