Worx Power Tools

Worx (styled as WORX) is a prominent brand specializing in power tools and outdoor garden equipment, established in 2004. The brand gained international recognition through its innovative approach to DIY tasks, particularly with its signature lawn trimmers and the Landroid robotic lawn mower. While the brand has a strong presence in the United States and Europe, its origins and manufacturing core are rooted in Asia.

Worx was founded by Don Gao as a proprietary brand of the Positec Tool Corporation. Before launching Worx, Positec operated for years as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), producing tools for major Western brands. Today, Worx is a global entity with major operational hubs in North Carolina, USA, and design centers in Italy, but the majority of its manufacturing continues to take place at the parent company's large-scale facilities in Suzhou, China.
