Neff is a high-end German brand specializing in kitchen appliances, most famous for its 'Slide&Hide' oven doors. Founded in 1877 by Carl Andreas Neff in Bretten, Germany, the company initially focused on coal stoves and boiled laundry stoves. Over the decades, Neff established itself as a pioneer in kitchen technology, introducing the first microwave and induction hobs in Europe.
In 1967, Neff was integrated into the Bosch-Siemens Hausgeräte (BSH) joint venture. Since 2015, BSH has been a 100% subsidiary of the Bosch Group. Today, Neff appliances are primarily manufactured in the BSH factory in Bretten, Germany, maintaining the brand's heritage of German engineering, though some components or models may be sourced from other BSH production sites across Europe and Asia to meet global demand.
