Diadora footwear and sportswear

Diadora is a historic Italian brand established in 1948 by Marcello Danieli in Caerano di San Marco, located in the Montebelluna region, which is globally recognized for performance footwear craftsmanship. Initially gaining fame for mountain boots and work boots, the brand transitioned into the sports world in the 1970s, becoming synonymous with legendary athletes in football, tennis, and athletics.

While high-end 'Heritage' and 'Made in Italy' specialty lines are still produced in the original Italian facilities to maintain the brand's artisanal roots, the vast majority of consumer footwear and apparel is manufactured in various locations including Vietnam, China, and Indonesia. This global production strategy allows the brand to scale while its R&D and core design remain firmly rooted in Italy.

Since 2009, Diadora has been under the ownership of LIR S.r.l., which is the investment arm of the Moretti Polegato family—the same family behind the Geox brand. This acquisition successfully revitalized the brand, focusing on its rich archival legacy and technological innovation in cushioning and stability.
