Hansa Lite Pilsner beer

Hansa Lite Pilsner is a popular Norwegian beer known for its lower calorie content and gluten-free formulation. The brand slogan 'Brygget i regnet' (Brewed in the rain) refers to its origins in Bergen, Norway, one of Europe's rainiest cities.

Hansa was founded in 1891 by Waldemar Stoud Platou. Today, it is part of Hansa Borg Bryggerier, which remains one of Norway's largest beverage companies. In 2022, the Danish brewing giant Royal Unibrew completed the acquisition of the remaining shares of Hansa Borg Bryggerier, making it the ultimate owner. Despite this change in corporate ownership, the beer continues to be brewed primarily at the Hansa brewery in Bergen, maintaining its deep-rooted Norwegian identity and local production standards.
