Twint is Switzerland's leading digital payment system, serving as the primary mobile wallet for Swiss consumers. Launched in 2014, the platform allows users to make payments at point-of-sale terminals, online stores, and peer-to-peer transfers using their smartphones. It has effectively become the national standard for cashless transactions within the country.

The service was developed through a merger of two competing systems: the original Twint, founded by PostFinance, and Paymit, created by SIX Group.
