Moulinex is a historic household appliance brand founded in France in 1932 by Jean Mantelet. Originally known for developing innovative vegetable mills, the brand evolved into a major global player in small domestic appliances.

In 2001, following financial difficulties, Moulinex was acquired by Groupe SEB, a French multinational company that is a world leader in small domestic equipment. While the brand carries a strong French heritage and maintains design facilities in Europe, manufacturing for the Blendforce range and similar small electronics is primarily conducted in China to optimize global production costs, though some assembly still occurs in SEB-owned factories worldwide. The ultimate owner, Groupe SEB, remains headquartered in Écully, France.
