Modelo Negra beer

Modelo Negra is a Munich Dunkel-style lager originally brewed in 1925 by Cervecería Modelo in Mexico. It is widely recognized for its rich flavor and dark amber color. While the brand is deeply rooted in Mexican tradition and continues to be brewed primarily in Mexican breweries, its corporate ownership is global.

Since 2013, the brand has been part of Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world's largest brewer, following the acquisition of Grupo Modelo. However, it's important to note that due to antitrust regulations in the United States, the rights to market and sell the brand within the U.S. are owned by Constellation Brands, though the product sold globally and in Mexico remains under the AB InBev umbrella.
