Pringles is a world-renowned brand of stackable potato-based crisps, originally developed by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the United States during the 1960s. The brand was created to address consumer complaints about broken, greasy, and stale potato chips, leading to the invention of their iconic saddle shape and cylindrical canister. In 2012, the brand was acquired by the Kellogg Company, which later underwent a corporate restructuring in 2023, spinning off its snack division into a new entity known as Kellanova.
Starting in 2024 and solidifyng into 2026, the ultimate ownership of the brand transitioned to Mars, Incorporated, following their landmark acquisition of Kellanova. Today, Pringles are produced in multiple manufacturing facilities worldwide to meet global demand, with major plants located in the United States, Belgium, Malaysia, Poland, and China. The product shown here, Pringles Minis, represents a popular bite-sized variation of the classic snack designed for convenience and on-the-go consumption.
