Founded over a century ago in the Antwerp region, the brand has grown from a local family business into one of Europe's largest sauce producers.

The brand's production is centered in Belgium, with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Oelegem and Herent. Since 1988, the brand has been part of the larger Pauwels Sauzen company, which was eventually acquired by the investment group Gimv and later integrated into a structure owned by the Belgian entrepreneur family, the Van Olmen family. The brand remains a staple in both the retail sector and the professional catering/snack-bar market across the Benelux and France.
