Cuétara Tostada biscuits are a classic staple in Spanish households, known for their golden toast-like texture and sweet flavor. The brand Cuétara was founded in 1935 in Santander, Spain, by Juan José and Florencio Gómez Cuétara. Over decades, it became one of the most iconic biscuit manufacturers in the Iberian Peninsula.
Today, the brand is owned by Adam Foods, a major Spanish food group that emerged following the split of the Nutrexpa group. Most of the production remains centered in Spain, specifically in factories like the one located in Villarejo de Salvanés (Madrid), maintaining the traditional recipe and quality that has defined the brand for generations.
