However, in 2011, the brand was acquired by Solaris Paper on behalf of Asia Pulp & Paper, bringing it under the ownership of Sinar Mas Group. Today, Sorbent is managed by Solaris Paper in Australia, representing a blend of Australian historical heritage and international corporate investment from Indonesia.
