Pringles is a globally recognized brand of potato-based crisps, originally developed by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the United States in the late 1960s. The brand's unique saddle shape (hyperbolic paraboloid) and cylindrical can packaging made it an icon of the snack industry. In 2012, the brand was acquired by Kellogg Company (now known as Kellanova), which expanded its international reach and flavor varieties, such as the 'Hot' series featuring Mexican Chilli & Lime.
Manufacturing of Pringles occurs in several high-capacity facilities globally to serve different markets. Key production sites include Jackson, Tennessee (USA) for North America, and Mechelen, Belgium (serving Europe). Additional factories are located in Poland, Malaysia, China, and Brazil to ensure regional distribution. Ownership remains under Kellanova, a spin-off of the original Kellogg Company specializing in global snacking.
