Brooklyn Lager is the flagship beer of the Brooklyn Brewery, a craft beer pioneer originally founded in 1988 in Brooklyn, New York. The brand's distinctive 'B' logo was designed by the famous graphic artist Milton Glaser.

While the brand maintains its original brewery and culture in New York City, it has expanded globally through major partnerships. To ensure freshness and reduce environmental impact, the beer is brewed in multiple locations worldwide. This 3.5% ABV version is specifically tailored for markets with distinct alcohol regulations, such as Sweden, where it is often produced locally under license.

Since 2020, through various international agreements, the Carlsberg Group has acquired the brand rights in many international markets (outside of the US) or maintains significant brewing and distribution partnerships. This allows Brooklyn brewery to maintain its craft identity while leveraging the global infrastructure of one of the world's largest brewing companies.
