Berliner Kindl is a historic German beer brand deeply rooted in Berlin's brewing culture since its founding in 1872 in the Rixdorf district. The Jubiläums Pilsener variant was originally created in 1987 to celebrate the 750th anniversary of Berlin. This specific version is the non-alcoholic (alkoholfrei) edition of their classic Pilsner.
Today, the brand is part of the Berliner-Kindl-Schultheiss-Brauerei, located in Berlin-Alt-Hohenschönhausen. This brewery is a subsidiary of the Radeberger Gruppe, which is the largest private brewery group in Germany. The ultimate ownership lies with the Oetker Group (Dr. August Oetker KG), a massive German multinational conglomerate. The beer continues to be brewed in Berlin, maintaining its local heritage under global corporate management.
