Carletti P-tærter confectionery

Carletti P-tærter is a classic Danish confectionery item first introduced in 1953. The name 'P-tærter' refers to the Danish word for 'peanut pies,' consisting of a base of French nougat topped with roasted peanuts and a chocolate-flavored coating. It has become a staple of Danish candy culture, often found in 'pick 'n' mix' selections and individual bags.

The product is manufactured in Denmark at Carletti's specialized production facilities. While the company operates three factories (two in Denmark and one in Poland), the P-tærter line is a flagship product deeply rooted in its Danish operations, specifically centered in Skødstrup near Aarhus.

Carletti A/S was originally founded in 1918 as a wholesale business by brothers Henry Peder and Niels Carl Jacobsen. Since 2006, the brand has been 100% owned by the Givesco Group, a family-owned Danish industrial group. Today, Carletti is a leading Northern European confectionery producer, exporting its classic snacks like P-tærter and Chocolate Bananas across the region.
