Trumer Pils is a premium pilsner originally founded in Salzburg, Austria. The brand traces its history back to the Sigl family brewery in Obertrum, established in 1775. Known for its 'Trumer' style, which emphasizes high carbonation and a crisp, floral hop profile, the beer has achieved international acclaim by adhering to traditional brewing standards and using high-quality mountain water.

In 2004, the brand expanded its footprint by establishing a sister brewery in Berkeley, California, allowing the beer to be brewed fresh for the North American market under the same strict quality guidelines established in Austria. This dual-brewing setup ensures that consumers in both Europe and the United States enjoy the freshest possible version of the product without long-distance shipping.

Today, the brand remains under the controlled ownership of the Sigl family. The Austrian operations are managed by Trumer Privatbrauerei in Obertrum, while the American operations are handled by the Trumer Brauerei in Berkeley. It is a rare example of a private, family-owned craft brand maintaininig a significant presence on two continents without being absorbed by an international beverage conglomerate.
