Paulaner is one of the most recognized German beer brands, deeply rooted in Bavarian brewing tradition. The product shown is a glass containing beer from the Paulaner Brewery, which was famously founded by the Minim friars of the Neudeck ob der Au monastery in Munich in 1634. The brand is particularly renowned for its Hefe-Weißbier (wheat beer) and its significant presence at the Munich Oktoberfest.

Manufacturing takes place exclusively in Munich, Germany, at the brewery's facilities in Langwied. The brand is currently managed under the Paulaner Brauerei Gruppe GmbH & Co. KGaA. The ownership structure is a joint venture between the Schörghuber Business Group, which holds a majority stake of 70%, and the Dutch brewing giant Heineken N.V., which holds the remaining 30%. Despite the international partnership, the brand remains a symbol of authentic Munich brewing culture and adheres to the Bavarian Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot).
