Göteborgs Kex is a classic Swedish brand with heritage dating back to 1888 in Kungälv, Sweden. For generations, it has been the leading manufacturer of biscuits and crackers in the Nordic region. The 'Variant' box is a popular assortment specifically designed to pair with cheese and grapes.

Historically, production took place at the famous factory in Kungälv. However, in recent years, the ultimate owner Orkla moved the production from Sweden to a new, modern production facility in Adaži, Latvia, to streamline operations. Despite the move of the physical manufacturing, the brand remains deeply rooted in Swedish culinary tradition and continues to serve as a staple in Swedish households.
