Läkerol is a well-known brand of sugar-free pastilles that dates back to 1909, when it was introduced by Adolf Ahlgren in Gävle, Sweden. The brand is famous for its 'A' logo, which stands for the founder's surname.

Originally produced in Sweden, the manufacturing landscape changed after the brand was acquired. Today, the brand is owned by the Swedish-Dutch confectionery giant Cloetta. While Cloetta has deep roots in Scandinavia, much of the production for brands like Läkerol has been centralized in their modern facility in Levice, Slovakia, to serve the international market.
