Five Ten is a renowned brand specializing in high-performance footwear for rock climbing, mountain biking, and outdoor sports. Founded in 1985 by Charles Cole, the brand gained fame for its proprietary Stealth rubber, which set a new standard for grip and friction. Its name is derived from the mountain climbing Yosemite Decimal System classification for technical climbing grades.
In 2011, Five Ten was acquired by the German sportswear giant Adidas. Since then, the brand has been integrated into the Adidas Terrex line, focusing on outdoor adventures. Manufacturing occurs across several countries where Adidas maintains its production facilities, primarily in Asia, including China, Vietnam, and Indonesia. This global supply chain ensures the distribution of specialized sports gear to international markets while maintaining the innovative rubber technology that established the brand's reputation.
