Today, the brand is owned by Essity, a global leader in hygiene and health products based in Sweden. Essity acquired the brand through its acquisition of Georgia-Pacific's European tissue business. Most Colhogar products sold in Europe are manufactured in regional facilities, notably in Spain (such as the Allo or Valls plants) to minimize logistics impact and support local markets.
