In terms of ownership, the brand underwent a significant transition. Nestlé acquired a majority stake in 2005 and full ownership in 2010. However, as part of a major strategic move in 2023, Nestlé entered into a joint venture with the private equity firm L Catterton, forming the 'European Frozen Food JV'. This entity now manages the frozen pizza business across Europe, with L Catterton holding the controlling interest while Nestlé retains a minority stake.
