Planteray Rum, formerly known as Plantation Rum, is a prestigious spirit brand celebrated for its unique double-aging process. The '3 Stars' expression is a sophisticated blend of rums sourced from three Caribbean powerhouses: Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad. While the raw spirits originate in the Caribbean, they are transported to the Charente region of France for final blending and maturation in French oak barrels. In early 2024, the brand transitioned its name from Plantation to Planteray as part of an evolution to respect the cultural history of the regions where it operates.

The brand is owned by Maison Ferrand, a renowned French spirits producer based in Cognac. This ownership ensures that traditional French cellar master techniques are applied to Caribbean raw materials, creating a distinct cross-continental flavour profile. Today, Planteray remains a flagship brand for Maison Ferrand, maintaining its position as a global leader in the premium rum category.
