The brand originated in Helsinki, Finland, starting in a small kitchen where the founders experimented with authentic, high-quality ingredients like real berries and roasted nuts to create a product that avoided artificial additives.

Since its inception, the brand has grown into a major player in the Nordic ice cream market, maintaining a strict focus on local production. All of their ice cream is currently produced in their own factory located in Kontula, Helsinki.
